Ultrasonics Flightcases Returns Policy

As a flight case manufacturer we offer bespoke and also standard products. To distinguish the difference, a standard product is classed as anything that is bought in the standard configuration through our site. If you customise a product with colours, castors or any other alterations this then becomes classed as a bespoke product. Any case purchased through the case builder or a bespoke case via direct communication will not be classed as a standard product and therefore is a bespoke product.

Returns – Standard Items

All our standard product offerings are subject the Consumer Protection Distance Selling Regulations 2000. Under these regulations, you can cancel your order within 14 days of placing it. If you have already received your item, you are required to return this to us within 14 days at YOUR own cost, not ours. You become responsible of the products in your possession until we have receipted them back in our workshop. They must be returned in reusable, unopened and resalable condition. Your original carriage charge will not be refunded. Please view the Consumer Protection Regulations 2000 for further information.

Returns – Bespoke Items

All bespoke items are covered by the same Consumer Protection Regulations 2000 with the governance of one important clause.

Exceptions to the right to cancel

13 – (1) Unless the parties have agreed otherwise, the consumer will not have the right to cancel the contract by giving notice of cancellation pursuant to regulation 10 in respect of contracts:

c) for the supply of goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised or which by reason of their nature cannot be returned or are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly

The definition of the above constitutes that any goods that are not standard and have been manufactured to your specifications will not be returnable and not refundable. Usually, we will not manufacture a bespoke case for 24 hours so we are happy to offer a refund at this point however, if your case is in production, you will be required to continue with the order. This does not affect your statutory rights should your items be received in a damaged condition. If you have any issues with a bespoke case, please do get in contact. If there are minor issues, we’re usually able to correct these and resolve the issue. If these issues are our fault, we will replace the product. If the item has been built to your written specification, then we accept no liability whatsoever and the costs involved will be down to yourself.

If you are struggling to determine whether an item is bespoke or standard, please contact us and we will be more than happy to help.
